Landscape Supervisor

Living Landscapes Sthn Ltd is looking for an experienced Landscape Supervisor to work within a small friendly company. We design and build gardens to extremely high standards for high profile designers and clients across the South and South East and South West.

You must be hard working and have proven experience in running contracts and liaising with clients / designers, as well as being able to demonstrate the ability to produce excellent quality workmanship in all aspectsd of both hard and soft landscaping.

Applicants are to be highly proficient in all facets of hard and soft landscaping including interpretation of plans, ground works, setting out, quality finishing on spec and completion of risk assessments.

You must hold a current Health and Safety certificate. You will be responsible for ordering materials and supervision of 1-2 staff. It is essential that you can efficiently operate excavators. You must be 25 or over, be polite and well presented and hold a full driving licence.

Might be the wrong thread to post this but Merlin Housing Society Limited have just issued a request for tender.

Grounds maintenance services in the South Gloucestershire area.

I guess this will be released on the Supply2.gov.uk web site but I believe you can contact them at enquiries@merlinhs.co.uk and request a tender pack?

I am looking for help in Cambridgeshire area. Quite flexible on skill level though some experience and a great work ethic is required.

An experienced labourer to an experienced landscaper, pay to reflect skills and value of the applicant.

Transport of some sort is essential.

Can't guarantee a permenant position so best suited to someone currently unemployed or someone self employed looking for additional work.

Applicants must posses the following skills:

Hard working

Knowledge of plants

Experienced in gardening and landscaping

Qualification(s) in connection with horticulture

Experience in using professional garden machinery

Experience of large estate grounds maintenance

Able to work as a team or individually

Strong sense of initiative

Learn new skills and methods quickly

Intelligent and articulate

Candidates are also required to show discretion and confidentially whilst on clients premises. Must be well presented, reliable, enthusiastic, have a desire to carry out work to a high standard and available at short notice. Knowledge and experience of soft and hard landscaping and a spraying licence is preferred, but not essential.

You will need to have access to; or your own vehicle, for getting to and from the base for an early morning start as there is no public transport at our location. You must posses a full clean driving licence.

Pay is dependant on fulfilment of the criteria, experience, skills etc.

There is opportunity for progression and further training for the right candidate.
