Landscape and Horticulture Association - Landscape Juice Network

Open association for the landscape and garden for industry

I have created the first draft customer charter that can be downloaded. I am sure it is not exhaustive but never the less, it gives us the basis to move this forward.

Because it has been produced with you in mind, it is important that you are completely happy with it.

Please feel free to add some feedback and let me know if you would like to add or remove any elements?

The idea of the charter is to demonstrate in the first instance that you, as a business, are committed to your work and you have set out with the best possible intentions.

You will be surprised how well this can be taken by a client and help to create the right atmosphere for you to work together in delivering a great job.

Please note that the charter is not designed to replace terms and conditions or any other form of relevant paperwork.

Once we have finalised the layout I will transfer it to the business tips section.

Sounds quite good to me but isnt this similar to T&Cs?

Hi Stuart

Perhaps certain elements are similar but your charter is telling your client how you intend to carry out your business but your terms and conditions are advising your client that you will only accept the project if certain aspects of the job are recognised and rigid guidlines are imposed for mutual protection.
